PopCast Episode 7: Doing the Whirlwind

Episode 7 - Doing the Whirlwind
In this episode:

Architecture in Helsinki, Asobi Seksu, Pawa Up First, We Sold Our Souls to Rock n' Roll Photo Exhibit, Kings of Leon, Harmony Trowbridge, Oh Bijou live.

I've seen twelve bands in two days, and tonight will be no less busy. I think next year we're going to have change the tag line of the festival to "choose your own adventure". My highlights so far:

The full-on Devin the Dude love-in at the Main Hall; the Old Soul doing Brian Wilson's "Vegetables" during a late-night set at the Academy Club; Oh Bijou (my vote at this point for most precious hidden gem at the festival); and We're Marching On and Think About Life— for brining the desperate frenzy. That was some wild spiritual group shit that went down last night, and it happened in more than one place. After the Think About Life set L.A.'s Subtitle sounded like he was ready to move to Montreal, scarf in hand.

It's a bit warmer today. And I'm sure the shows will be just as hot.
