Well, don't worry if you didn't catch part of the Arcade Fire playing Cure songs in Union Square unannounced. If you're anywhere near Montreal, or anywhere near anywhere for that matter, there's music going on. Pop Montreal and I are going to try and keep bringing it to you year-round in one way or another, give you an excuse to go and see live music, and to support emerging artists—whether you live in Montreal and we're talking about a show happening, or you live somewhere else and that band is playing in your town 5 days later, or you just like good music.

Of course we'll also be leading up to Pop Montreal 2006, and applications are being accepted as of Nov. 1st.
